Water Service

Charleston Water System provides direct (retail) water service to 108,000 accounts, serving areas of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties.

Wholesale Service

Charleston Water System also provides water on a wholesale basis to the Department of Defense and the following municipalities/utilities: St. Johns Water Company (serves Kiawah and Seabrook Islands), Mt. Pleasant Waterworks, Dorchester County Public Works, Town of Folly Beach, Town of Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms Water & Sewer Commission.

Charleston Water System is a member of the Partnership of Safe Water and has won many honors and awards for operational excellence.
